Vinyl Chloride-Vinyl Acetate Copolymers

Features

Kanevinyl™ M Series, which is a Vinyl Chloride-Vinyl Acetate Copolymers, has outstanding fluidity in its molten state, and is suited to processing at low temperatures. It also has excellent stretch properties at high temperature, making it ideal as a material for secondary processing such as vacuum molding. It can be used either as a base resin or an additive to Homopolymer PVC for sheeting for secondary processing, as well as for flooring, adhesives, inks and paints.
In addition to the existing M Series, we have also added the High Vinyl Acetate content Copolymer (HM Series) and the Terpolymer, used in inks and paints (T555 Series) to our product line-up.

Advantages of Vinyl Chloride-Vinyl Acetate Copolymers

Kaneka’s copolymers are known for their high degree of transparency and low fisheye level, as well as improved forming process capabilities due to a lower melting point than PVC.
Moreover, due to improvements in stretching during melting, our copolymers are ideal for vacuum-molding processes.
Kaneka’s terpolymers display excellent solubility in all types of solvents and can be applied in each of our client sectors such as inks and paints.
